Senior IT Project Manager (SAP S/4HANA Transformation)

The project and the role description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager with SAP to contribute to a large-scale SAP initiative for our Swedish client – one of Europe’s leading energy companies focused on enabling fossil-free living within one generation.

At this position, you will lead the Document and Data Driven Stream (D3W). This critical role will oversee the full lifecycle of the stream, ensuring that all objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality.

You’ll coordinate a diverse team of technical and business stakeholders across Europe, using your expertise in SAP Activate methodology, Agile principles, and DevOps practices to steer progress, resolve risks, and deliver measurable business value.

Tasks:
  • Lead and manage the D3W stream within a major SAP S/4HANA transformation program
  • Create detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage budgets
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of project milestones
  • Maintain alignment between IT and Business Units, managing interfaces and dependencies
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Facilitate clear and continuous communication with stakeholders across Europe
  • Promote Agile practices and DevOps alignment within the delivery stream

Required skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong delivery track record
  • Proven experience managing large, complex, cross-European IT programs
  • Deep knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology and Agile/DevOps practices
  • Strong background in stakeholder management, risk management, and resource planning
  • Certified Project Management qualification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Located in Czechia or Slovakia.
  • Travel: Occasional travel to Sweden might be required.
