About the role
In this role, you will be assigned to develop cutting-edge infotainment systems for one of our clients in Gothenburg area. Your tasks may include hands-on development in complex systems, optimizing performance, implementing code, verifying and testing software components. From application layer development to performance tuning and debugging at system level - your expertise will ensure robust and fully functional Android infotainment experiences.
As your first assignment starts wrapping up, we would love to see you keep growing at Nexer with new challenges. Maybe in the same domain, or maybe you would like to try something new? We see no limits!
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Software Engineer with solid experience in Android development within the automotive domain. You likely have a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent education.
You will thrive in this role if you have:
- Hands-on experience with Android platform development (AOSP, Android Automotive OS)
- Strong programming skills in Java and/or C++
- Good understanding of embedded Linux systems
- Familiarity with infotainment architectures, connectivity, and multimedia
