IMPLEMENTATION TEAM LEAD / TECHNICAL TEAM LEAD
About us
At Nexer Group, part of DANIR AB, we don’t just deliver IT solutions — we help shape the future of technology. We collaborate with world-class brands across Scandinavia, the USA, the UK, and Western Europe.
Our philosophy is simple: we grow through expertise, not headcount. This means meaningful projects, strong teams, and real impact.
About the Project
This is a truly unique opportunity to be part of a large‑scale, greenfield automotive manufacturing project built from the ground up.
We are looking for an Implementation Team Lead to join Nexer and take responsibility for leading a junior on‑site team during the launch of a brand‑new manufacturing plant in Košice, Slovakia.
You will play a key role in bringing a core Manufacturing Execution System (MES) into live production across multiple production lines. This is not a maintenance role — you will be directly involved in commissioning, ramp‑up, and stabilization of a real factory environment.
About the role
This role is primarily about people leadership, coordination, and delivery.
You will lead an on‑site team of approximately 13 junior Java developers, ensuring smooth collaboration, clear priorities, and effective communication with all stakeholders in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
You will act as the main point of contact between Nexer and the client, making sure that expectations, progress, and risks are managed professionally and transparently.
Hands‑on development is not required, but a technical background helps you understand the context and support the team when needed.
Main responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support a junior development team on‑site
Coordinate daily activities, priorities, and workload
Create a positive, structured, and motivating team environment
Act as the main interface towards client and internal stakeholders
Handle issue escalation and coordinate resolution in live production
Ensure delivery quality, timelines, and scope adherence
Support onboarding and future team scaling
Provide regular reporting and participate in governance meetings
Coordinate testing, commissioning, and go‑live activities
Align team activities with production and commissioning milestones
You might be the perfect match if you are/have
Strong people leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A natural, friendly, and confident approach (“nice to talk to” personality)
High level of responsibility, ownership, and assertiveness
Fluent English communication (spoken & written)
Ability to work 100% on‑site
Residence in Košice or nearby area
Nice to have
Background in automotive manufacturing
