SAP Process Area Specialist – EWM

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP EWM specialist to join an important SAP S/4HANA transformation project for one of our international clients in the medical technology sector.

About the project

You will join a global SAP S/4HANA program focused on the transition from SAP WM to SAP EWM across manufacturing facilities in the Czech Republic.

The project is currently entering the design phase, where key warehouse processes, automation requirements, and future-state EWM capabilities will be defined. You will support the Lead EWM Solution Architect in designing scalable warehouse management processes and validating business requirements through workshops, documentation, and proof-of-concept activities.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a large-scale manufacturing transformation project within a global organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Support SAP EWM design workshops and requirement gathering activities

  • Document business requirements, processes, decisions, and actions

  • Perform fit-gap analysis and maintain requirements traceability

  • Prepare functional specifications and process documentation

  • Support configuration, prototyping, and proof-of-concept activities

  • Create and maintain business process flows

  • Manage design backlog, dependencies, and issue logs

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and subject matter experts

  • Support testing preparation and validation activities

  • Ensure consistency between business requirements and solution design

You might be the perfect match if you have

  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM from process, configuration, and solution design perspectives

  • Strong understanding of SAP MM and PP integration

  • Experience with Handling Units, RF solutions, warehouse automation, and production integration

  • Knowledge of handheld devices and printer integrations within SAP EWM environments

  • At least 5 years of SAP consulting experience

  • Minimum one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA EWM implementation

  • Proven experience delivering EWM solutions in manufacturing or factory environments

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders

  • Located in Czechia, Slovakia or Hungary

  • Fluent English communication skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with EWM MFS

  • Knowledge of warehouse automation solutions

  • SAP Certified Application Associate – Extended Warehouse Management with SAP S/4HANA

Assignment details

  • Start: August 2026

  • Duration: Until December 2026 with a strong possibility of extension into 2027

  • Allocation: Full-time

  • Location: Remote with occasional travel to the Czech Republic (2–3 trips during the assignment)

  • Contract type: B2B / Freelance
