The Project and the Role Description

We are currently seeking Senior Backend Developers to join an international team developing a leading business process automation and workflow orchestration platform used by organizations worldwide.

You will help build scalable backend services that power complex business processes for enterprise customers. The platform supports digital transformation initiatives by enabling organizations to automate workflows, orchestrate systems, and improve operational efficiency through modern cloud-native technologies.

The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, AI-assisted coding tools, and highly skilled engineering teams across multiple countries.

Tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and applications

  • Build scalable APIs and integrations

  • Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and product teams

  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

  • Perform code reviews and support engineering best practices

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java

  • Senior-level software development experience

  • Experience building scalable backend systems and APIs

  • Knowledge of modern software engineering practices

  • Ability to work effectively in distributed international teams

  • Professional communication skills in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data analytics solutions

  • Knowledge of AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code

  • Cloud-native development experience

  • Experience with large-scale enterprise platforms
